·Yantai currently has five ordinary colleges and universities, namely, Eastern University, Yantai University and Shandong Institute of Business, Naval Air Force Engineering College, Binzhou Medical College Campus in Yantai, China Agricultural University, Yantai Branch. Vocational institutions Yantai Vocational College, Nanshan School Food Institute, and other Penglai Teachers College.
烟台目前有5所普通高等学校，分别是鲁东大学，烟台大学，山东工商学院，海军航空工程学院，滨州医学院烟台分校，中国农业大学烟台分校。高职院校有烟台职业学院，南山学院，粮食学院，蓬莱师范专科学校等。
